Introducing the pre-owned Yamaha b2 upright piano c.2016

The b2 is the mid-range model in the b Series and is the first model in the whole Yamaha lineup to have traditional style cabinetry and castors. This lends it an elegant outward appearance, while its larger sound chamber facilitates a richer and more resonant tone, aided by the addition of a solid spruce soundboard.

A significant step up from the entry level b1, the b2 is a great choice of compact, traditional upright for the intermediate pianist, with a nicely balanced and responsive action and a medium voicing.

This piano has been privately owned and lightly used since purchased new in c.2016, and is consequently in excellent technical condition. It has been comprehensively serviced on arrival here and is offered with a 5 year warranty.

As the first model in the range to have a traditional cabinet, it is only fitting that it is the first model to have a solid spruce soundboard too! The soundboard Yamaha b2 is made from solid Alaskan spruce affording it a deeper and richer tone than it's otherwise compact dimensions would suggest.

Each instrument leaves Yamaha workshops in optimum condition, with the highest level of quality control and ready for a lifetime of service.

Modern production facility

With fantastic build and component quality, the b2 is made in Yamaha's Indonesian piano factory which is among the most modern and advanced in the world. Owned and operated by Yamaha, the result is high quality control from start to finish!
