Tanglewood’s Roadster series guitar has been carefully crafted by their highly skilled luthiers, the result is an organic look and a warm, expressive sound. This guitar creates a balanced tone, great for smaller settings and recordings.
The TR3 features a 'folk' shape that makes it very comfortable to hold, ideal for any sized player. It’s also portable, making it ideal as a rehearsal instrument or for playing outdoors with friends round a campfire!
Built from sustainable materials
Tanglewood have long pioneered sustainable forestry in the manufacturing of their instruments. The TR3 features finely graded Canadian red cedar tops matched with traditional Indonesian mahogany back and sides. This produces a rich tone that sounds great straight out of the box.
High quality finish
Each guitar features smooth edged joints on the body as no binding agents are used in the making of the TR3, so there is no margin for error. Roadster II cedar tops are finished and sealed in high grade, low density satin lacquer to showcase the raw timber below and also add to the sweet tone of these instruments.
