Sevenths and ninths have been excluded as they only divide into 1 whole with a remainder. The facility to add or subtract blocks from any of the sections enable teachers to demonstrate a variety of activities. The two empty channels at the bottom of the tray can be used for comparison purposes. The quality wooden beech blocks are varnished and set in a sturdy wooden tray with removable feet which slot into the two comparison channels.
