Heavy duty flock lined rubber latex glove, offering good chemical and mechanical protection. Performs well against a wide range of chemicals and cleaning agents and is extremely durable. Slip resistant patterned palm for good grip in both dry and wet conditions. Beaded cuff to prevent liquid rollback. Contains a fungicidal and bacteriostatic agent for hygiene. Length 310mm. Black. Approved to EN420, EN388, EN374-2 and EN374-3. Allergic reactions from exposure to natural rubber latex (NRL) have increased significantly over the last 10 years, particularly within Healthcare occupations. The protein naturally present in NRL causes allergies either through direct contact with skin or by inhalation of powder from powdered latex gloves. The HSE advises that where possible latex gloves should be replaced with a non-latex alternative, but single use disposable NRL may be used where risk assessment has identified them as necessary.
