The Magformers Smart Set contains 144 pieces - 46 Triangles, 44 Squares, 12 Pentagons, 6 Rectangles, 4 Hexagons, 6 Isosceles Triangles, 4 Super Triangles, 6 Super Squares and 16 accessories.
The super-sized shapes are 4x bigger than standard squares and triangles and really make a difference by adding scale to D&T building projects. This versatile STEM set includes a Model Booklet to suggest construction ideas and enables math learning covering 2D nets and 3D modelling, symmetry, mirroring, turns, positioning, direction, movement, rotation, measuring, angles, edges, vertices, perimeters.
The set also includes Magformers XL pieces which are made differently (with fixed magnets) and can be used separately to make cars with the wheel accessories included.
Also includes number inserts for the square pieces. These can be used to help children acquire basic numeracy skills or make dice.
