Description
The Petromax Dutch Oven is ideally suited to cooking and baking in the outdoors. They are great for long, slow cooking, such as stews and casseroles and can be buried in the embers or placed on a tripod stand.
When cooking over a campfire, it is also possible to use these Dutch ovens as a true baking oven. Hot embers can be placed on the lid to create a surround heat to cook biscuits, cakes, breads and pizzas. Dutch ovens can be stacked on top of each other, conserving the heat that would normally rise from the hot coals on the top.
It has three legs, giving stability, a sturdy handle and a thermometer hole so you can check the temperature without having to lift the lid. Comes with an instruction manual.
Made from cast iron. This cast iron cookware is the ultimate traditional cooking equipment. The Dutch Oven does come pre-seasoned, however if you wish to improve the non-stick surface, it is advisable to season the oven when you receive it.
