Made from steel, the griddle can be also used as a fire bowl.
To use as a griddle, stand it over an over an open fire. The centre of the griddle will become hotter than the edge, thus you can cook food in the middle whilst keeping food warm on the edge.
Before using the griddle for the first time, it must be seasoned. A patina will form after each use, making it naturally non-stick.
