Use this machine to generate static electric charges and cause electric discharges. Turn the hand crank to rotate the 2 high-resistance plastic disks in opposite directions. Disk Dia. is about 10″ (250 mm) with equally spaced metal sectors. A rapid sequence of sparks can be generated by lowering the system’s capacitance.
